Britain, we are told, doesn't have a 'cycling culture' and also that 'young people don't want to cycle'. how do we get more young people cycling - turn it into a safe, pleasant activity rather than a dangerous helmeted jostle with cars, vans, taxis, buses & lorries.

@flipper540 @_jcaruso @Hackneycyclist @steinsky @willnorman But yes cycle infrastructure is an inherently bad idea because it doesn't cater for the inconceivably small fraction of London's population that on any given day happens to be going to Scotland. It's basically racist against Scottish people. Rip it up.

And the Tube. And probably the Thames too. Although I guess you could sail out to sea and take the long way round.
