Chinese Police Harass Christian Family in Dallas, Texas
A Christian mother living in Dallas, Texas, has received repeated calls from Chinese police asking when she and her daughter will return to China. Her husband, who remains in China, has faced similar questions from state security officials. This harassment follows a July 11 crackdown on house churches in Yueyang, Hunan, where believers were detained.
ChinaAid President Rev. Dr. Bob Fu condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s campaign against independent Christians, noting that the regime continues to treat peaceful worship as a threat to state security and extends surveillance and intimidation to families abroad.
The international community must demand an end to such transnational threats against religious freedom.
Pray for the protection of families facing CCP transnational harassment.

(Pastors and Children Detained)
On the evening of July 11, 2026, Chinese authorities launched a coordinated crackdown on multiple house church congregations in Yueyang, Hunan Province. Police detained Pastor Huang Lei, Elder Yang Jianjun, Teacher Yuan Shiying, numerous church co-workers, believers, and children after months of surveillance, calling it the “final net-closing operation.”
Some were held for interrogation until around 3 a.m. the following day.

President Donald Trump's state visit to China (May 13-15, 2026) was the first by a U.S. president since 2017. He held bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping in Beijing, including at the Great Hall of the People and Zhongnanhai, toured the Temple of Heaven, and attended a state dinner.
China Releases 9 Zion Church Members | Escalates Charges Against 9 Others Detained
A church announcement released Friday said authorities freed nine detained believers after the expiration of the maximum investigative detention period allowed under Chinese law. At the same time, prosecutors moved forward with cases against nine church leaders, reportedly replacing earlier allegations with charges of “illegal business operations” and “fraud.”
The remaining nine church leaders face a more uncertain future. Reports indicate that Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, Pastor Wang Lin, Pastor Gao Yingjia, Pastor Yin Huibin, Pastor Liu Zhenbin, Pastor Lin Shucheng, Pastor Wang Cong, Elder Wang Zhong, and Wu Qiuyu have been transferred to the Yinhai District People’s Procuratorate in Beihai for prosecution.

The Chinese Communist Party orchestrated a brutal nationwide crackdown, kidnapping and arbitrarily detaining over 400 human rights lawyers and activists in midnight raids.
It was a direct assault on justice and religious freedom.
Never forget the 709 Crackdown. Honor the legacy of the 709 lawyers.

11 YEARS AGO TODAY
Attorney Piero Tozzi asked the question the world still refuses to answer:
“Is a rule of law-based society possible so long as the Chinese Communist Party controls China?”
Tiananmen proved the Party is supreme.
The West’s “China fantasy” subsidized the tyranny anyway.
The 709 Crackdown was the direct result — over 300 lawyers and activists targeted for defending persecuted Christians and Falun Gong practitioners.
Secret detention. Torture. Forced confessions. Unfair trials.
Their families still live under surveillance, job bans, and collective punishment.
Will we keep pretending the answer is anything but no?
Stand with the 709 defenders.

Thousands of Crosses Destroyed: Xi Jinping’s Systematic Assault on Christian Faith Exposed
Since President Xi Jinping took power, Chinese authorities have waged war on the cross, forcibly removing thousands from church rooftops starting in Wenzhou, Zhejiang—China’s Jerusalem.
The campaign quickly expanded province-wide and nationwide, affecting even government-sanctioned Three-Self churches. Crosses were taken down, burned, or destroyed, and some church buildings were leveled.

@SuTina528 Thank you for your faithful prayers! Our persecuted brothers and sisters in China often share how they feel the tangible strength from the global Church's intercession while in prison (Hebrews 13:3).
Justice Obstructed: New Barriers Emerge for Pastor Wang Lin in Escalating Zion Church Crackdown
Separated from his wife and children since his October 2025 arrest, Beijing Zion Church Pastor Dr. Wang Lin now faces upgraded charges of illegal business operations and fraud.
His attorney, Zhang Lei, was denied access to prosecution case files on June 23 after submitting authorization documents to the Yinhai District People’s Procuratorate in Beihai. Prosecutors demanded additional paperwork not required by law, which attorney Zhang Lei described as “absurd.” Wang’s wife, Su Ziming, publicly condemned the requirements, arguing they contradict China’s Civil Code.
This latest development in the crackdown on the prominent independent house church highlights concerns over access to justice for religious believers. Advocates continue to call for fair proceedings and respect for religious freedom. Stand with Pastor Wang Lin and the persecuted—share their story and urge Chinese authorities to uphold due process and religious freedom today.

President Trump should be commended for Securing Ezra Jin’s Release by raising the case with Xi Jinping in Beijing this year. Truly Treasure in Heaven to see this godly man of faith set free. Now China, #FreeJimmyLai 🇺🇸🇨🇳
We are thrilled that Pastor Jin has been freed and has now joined his family in the United States. Without their tireless advocacy, this incredible moment would never have happened.
While Pastor Jin's freedom is significant and a cause for celebration, we must not forget the other church members still in detention. We call on the Chinese government to release them immediately. We must never stop shining a bright spotlight on the CCP's many egregious violations of the right to freedom of belief and its widespread persecution of faith communities. https://t.co/erNCqngURH
Wonderful news: Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri is free and reunited with his family on U.S. soil. I am grateful for President Trump prioritizing religious freedom and pressuring Xi Jinping to release Pastor Jin.
Eight other Zion Church pastors and members are still being held captive by the Chinese Communist Party. Please continue to pray for their release and for everyone enduring persecution for their faith. Religious freedom is a fundamental human right.
On Friday, Pastor Ezra Jin arrived in Los Angeles, where he reunited with his family, including his wife, Anna Liu, whom he hadn't seen in eight years, and daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Bill Drexel. He had just been released from a Chinese prison, where he spent 266 days, just one of many Christian leaders China has thrown in jail as part of its decades-long crackdown.
The Free Press's @FrannieBlock has been telling Jin's story since last October. Today, her reporting is worth another read: https://t.co/YfUPGXSjGu
