@josefoshea Said company runs their own public transport service. Two routes and 25 departures every morning. More frequent service than Bus Eireann have in some large towns.
@Overthehillprop My hot take:
Welsh teams to B&I league
IRFU 5th team (same idea as the London team but based out of Musgrave Park) to B&I league
Ealing, Pirates, Cheetas and Portugal to URC
Scots stay put in the URC
@llunved@Noahpinion There are terrible examples across Europe, especially in the UK and Ireland but Europe on the whole has dozens of dense walkable cities with public transport. For example Lille metro has more passengers than DC or Boston despite having way smaller and poorer population
@BowtiedGuanaco@Noodles_Crusher@Noahpinion@Fullcarry Lyon Metro has a higher annual ridership than any city in the US outside New York. There are 5 metro systems in France outside Paris. UK is shit outside London but France has exceptional transport outside Paris. Even your 200k city will have a great light rail system.
@Robcass78@ronanlyons Ireland 2040 is way behind population growth but I donโt see that slowing population growth to 20% of its current levels anytime soon
@Robcass78@ronanlyons Population growth isnโt slowing. The population increased by 100k last year. In order for your 2030 scenario the rate of population increase would have to slow to about 20% of what it was last year starting next year.
@Robcass78@Noahpinion That chart is PPS which is of course going to inflate the standing of an extremely poor country like Romania and deflate the standing of a rich country like Ireland. Below is the chart in Euros as opposed to PPS.
@StefJamieSan @EwanMacKenna He has no solutions, he sees the world black and white, goodies and baddies. Anything the baddies do has to be amplified and exaggerated if necessary. Anything the goodies do has to be obfuscated, excused and whataboutโd. Itโs a childโs view of the world.
