Can we start teaching Nigerian children how to measure distance properly?
In the UK, Europe, Canada or US, someone tells you a place is 5km away, and you know exactly what that means.
In Nigeria, our units of measurement are βjust here,β βnear near,β βsmall trek,β and the legendary βyou will soon reach.β
Nobody knows whether that means 200 metres or 10 kilometres!
A society that struggles to understand distance will struggle with spatial planning, mapping, infrastructure and development.
I don't know who else does this;
Whenever I learn new concept that will improve an application performance, it's scalability or security, I will quietly go back to my client's codebases and implement them.
Why would you even think of hosting a Fintech app without implementing Audit Log ?
It should be the first thing to implement while building any serious application. Even before thinking of authentication, please implement it.
