WHY HAS THE WORLD FORGOTTEN AMBAZONIA?

SOUTHERN CAMEROONS

SOME OF US REMEMBER.
WE WEEP.
WE RISE.

They gave them a plebiscite. They believed their promises. They voted in good faith, only to watch those promises torn apart.

What was promised as a union of equals became recolonisation and annexation.

They went to Foumban as partners. They accepted a federal constitution as a covenant. Then the federal promise was dismantled, piece by piece.

Their homeland was divided into Northwest and Southwest. Their people were reduced to the label “Anglophones.” Abducted and rendtioned to stand Kangaroo trial .

When teachers and lawyers peacefully said “No,” war followed. Paul Biya sent in troops to kill and maim.

Homes were burned. Families were displaced. Thrir sons were buried. Their daughters were silenced.

The world saw the suffering. The world heard the cries. But they have kept silent . Norway developed a blind eye . It looked fir oil and forgot human rights .

Dialogue was offered, but those most affected were left outside the door. Switzerland offered mediation. Canada offered mediation. Both efforts failed to produce a lasting political settlement. They were sabotaged by Norway and other countries that benefit fro the oil of Cameroon.

Yet the fundamental question remains:

What happened to the promise of equality?What happened to the right to determine their destiny?

They are not fools. Not anymore.

They now demand genuine international mediation, justice for victims, accountability for serious violations, and a political settlement that allows the people of Southern Cameroons to determine their future.

The world may look away.

They will not.

Paul Biya can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

THEY REMEMBER.
THEY WEEP.
THE RISE.

There is a silent epidemic in Egypt: Coptic Christian girls are being kidnapped and forced into Islam.

And the fix is simple. In Egypt, religion is on your National ID. Changing it should require safeguards to prove it is NOT forced.

A 2-3 step verification that's it it's not that hard :

*#1 — Family Present.* The person must come IN PERSON with their blood family to change their religion on their ID, to confirm she is not being coerced.

*#2 — Church Confirmation.* Her church leaders must sign off that this is truly her free decision. No one is killed for leaving Christianity.

*#3 — If She Is Being Forced, Protect Her.* Treat her as if she were your own daughter.

That's it. It's that simple.

We are all somebody's child.
