🚨New: Polling Shows the South Carolina Republican Senate Primary in a dead heat
🔴 Darline Graham: 47.9%
🟠 Ralph Norman: 47.8%
⚪️ Undecideds: 4.4%
Pollster: Trafalgar Poll
Date: 8/22-8/24
Darline Graham has been trying to differentiate herself from her brother as more hawkish on immigration. I asked if she thought those with DACA status should be deported. She initially talked about birthright citizenship and, on followup, said she had no thoughts "right now."
We definitely need more compute power, but this approach to end the debate and try to force conservatives to accept the answer uncritically will backfire and it’s a strategic misstep by data center supporters.
@chiproytx Chip in my town of 28K ppl someone did a FOIA request and discovered that there were hundreds of accesses to Flock cameras by outside agencies without warrant or town LE cooperation. Some accesses were purient. Clear 4th Amendment violations! Flock gotta go!
Trump is hailing Darline Graham for being very big on affordability at this telerally. When @edokeefe asked Graham what she was doing specifically on the issue, the recently appointed incumbent senator said "we'll see when I get there."
The separation of church and state was never meant to separate God from public life.
Our faith has guided America since its founding and we should never be ashamed to LEAD with it.
In God We Trust.
Americans don’t want to be spied on.
Section 702 is a critical national security tool, and it can work with a warrant requirement that protects Americans’ Fourth Amendment rights. That is the will of the House and the American people.
The Senate should pass Section 702 with the House reforms intact.
100%. Agree with this point. The Data center argument for most Americans is not cancer… not water… mostly not electricity. It’s about controlling their lives and having a voice… being able to believe when they hear (with force) AI is going to take your job… that there’s an answer…
Rep. Roy: "I think there's a whole generation of the American people who want to recognize America again.
They want to have a family. They want to have a job. They want to have the dignity of work.
If we speak in those terms, while we protect capitalism and free enterprise, then we will win that next generation. That's what we need to do."
At the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the pit crews fixed their cars in seconds because they have the data, tools, and parts to do it.
You should have that same right for the car in your driveway.
Read my op-ed in the Washington Times: https://t.co/8ZMXitoQX9
Texas State University has 140+ U.S. students earning PR degrees every year. Yet it renewed an H-1B worker for a PR job.
Rep. Roy is demanding answers: Did the university actually try to hire Americans?
If you have to import workers for a job your own graduates are trained to do, something is seriously wrong.

Team Roy met with Kerr Together last week to discuss the status of flood recovery in Kerr County.
Congressman Roy continues to advocate for a major disaster declaration and is working on legislative solutions to better support flood victims and strengthen disaster recovery efforts in the future.
Absolute fucking clown world that @chiproytx can’t/doesn’t win any office he runs for 😭 America is losing one of the only congresspeople with testosterone left and it sucks
Arrogant statements like this will cause folks who do not oppose data centers but want serious conversations about impact, subsidies, and who gets to decide… to oppose them.
