The Trump administration just did a complete 180 on AI regulation.

16 months ago, Trump killed Biden's AI executive order on DAY ONE. Called AI "a beautiful baby" that shouldn't be stopped with rules.

His AI czar David Sacks went to every conference saying deregulation was the only path. JD Vance flew to Paris and told world leaders the future is won "by building, not by hand-wringing about safety."

That was the whole pitch. Regulation is for losers.

But the same White House just started briefing Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI executives on plans for MANDATORY government review of AI models before public release.

The exact policy they destroyed 16 months ago.

Fortune called it a "head-spinning policy pirouette."

So what happened?

ONE AI model happened:

In April, Anthropic announced a model called Mythos.

During internal testing, it found THOUSANDS of unknown security vulnerabilities across every major operating system and browser on earth including a 27yo bug in OpenBSD, an OS literally famous for being unhackable, and a 16yo flaw in FFmpeg that survived 5 million automated security tests.

NOBODY asked it to do any of this. The capabilities emerged on their own as the model got smarter at coding.

Anthropic's researchers said they found more bugs in weeks than they'd found in their entire careers combined.

The UK's AI Security Institute confirmed Mythos could autonomously execute multi-stage cyberattacks on networks. Tasks that take human professionals DAYS.

Anthropic refused to release it. Formed "Project Glasswing" with Apple, Microsoft, Google, JPMorgan, and 40 other organizations to use it defensively before attackers develop similar tools.

Their estimate: Competing labs will have comparable capabilities within 6 to 18 months.

That timeline is what scared Washington.

Because here's what nobody in the White House considered while removing safety rules:

What happens when a devastating AI-enabled cyberattack hits American infrastructure and the government has ZERO oversight in place?

No safety testing, pre-release review, or reporting. They literally burned all of it.

David Sacks quietly left in March. Treasury Secretary Bessent and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles took over AI policy.

They're now drafting an executive order for an AI working group that would vet models before release.

Some officials want the government to get FIRST ACCESS to new models. The same government that said 16 months ago it had no business being involved.

But here's where it gets really insane:

The company that triggered all of this was BANNED by the Trump administration from government contracts. Labeled Anthropic a "supply-chain risk." They tried to punish them for refusing to let their AI target US citizens autonomously.

Anthropic is currently fighting the Pentagon in federal court.

So the timeline reads like this:

January 2025: Trump kills Biden's AI oversight.
July 2025: Calls AI a "beautiful baby," signs orders to fast-track AI with zero safety guardrails.
March 2026: Bans Anthropic from government work.
April 2026: Anthropic's Mythos demonstrates it can hack every major OS on earth.
May 2026: Same administration rebuilds the oversight it destroyed BECAUSE of the company it banned.

This is what happens when ideology meets reality.

Every government told itself AI regulation could wait. Mythos proved them wrong overnight.

Open-weight models with similar capabilities are even closer. Once those tools are in the wild, no executive order puts them back.

I am currently being scammed for $3,300 while using @StubHub @TeamStubHub for tickets.

I bought my father (life-long Flyers fan) tickets to a SUITE for $3,300 for his birthday for Game Four this Saturday (tomorrow). The tickets were purchased Wednesday (prior to Game Three) and then subsequently transferred into my StubHub account, added to my apple wallet and available in Ticketmaster app (I have screen recordings of everything).

After the Flyers won game 3, tickets for Saturday in the same suite as mine skyrocketed to $2,000 a piece (I bought ours for $1,000 each). I immediately knew what was going to happen next. I got a notification Thursday afternoon saying my tickets had been added to a new apple wallet. The seller had transferred the tickets out of my possession to presumably re-sell them for more. I have now lost access to my tickets via StubHub, TicketMaster AND apple wallet.

In calling customer support, they confirmed the seller had transferred the tickets back and told me they have given the seller 24 hours to return the tickets. The problem? The game is in 26 hours. I’m supposed to wait 24 hours to see if the person who scams me gives me my tickets back? I was told this is a “protocol” and they cannot break the protocol. They also added that we would get comparable tickets or a refund within 24-48 hours if the tickets were never transferred back. The seller is on the west coast, which puts this time frame AFTER the game starts. Again, this was described as a protocol that cannot be broken. I asked if we could just fast track the comparable ticket protocol and get new seats now instead of waiting to see if the person who scammed us gives our tickets back in 24 hours, in which again I was told isn’t possible because of the protocol. The most likely outcome of resolution based off StubHubs’ protocol is going to be waiting 24 hours to see if the person who scammed me for $3,300 gives me the tickets back (which probably won’t happen as the tickets most likely have been already re-sold) and then given their protocol timeframe, we will only be able to get a refund as the game will have already started, so we cannot get comparable tickets.

I tried reaching out via DMs and replies in which they HID my reply under their post (see screenshot). I am beyond disappointed in the way this situation is being handled. I hope this can be resolved and my parents can enjoy a @NHLFlyers playoff game.

The formula just ran.
Go back and watch any clip.
Any year. Any topic. Any reporter.
Count the steps.
I'll wait.
This is the part nobody wants to sit with:
Real conviction engages with the actual question. It sometimes stumbles. Sometimes says I don't know. It changes shape based on what's in front of it.
A formula runs the same 7 steps whether the topic is war or egg prices.
Which means the response was never built for the question.
It was built for you.
To feel powerful. To feel certain. To stop you from noticing that nothing was actually answered.
And it worked.
For years it worked.
Pull any transcript. Public record. Count the steps yourself.
This isn't about politics.
This is about what you were never supposed to notice.
I've found the same deliberate pattern running in another major figure in this administration. Different slots. Same principle. Same effect.

BREAKING: I can confirm with 99% confidence that the reason Melania Trump came out yesterday with her Epstein Statement is because of information possessed by a former friend, and Epstein survivor, Brazilian Model Amanda Ungaro.

Ungaro was also the partner of Trump admin official Paolo Zampolli, who she alleges had her deported. They have a son together. Paolo Zampolli also claims to have introduced Trump to Melania.

Amanda is a victim of Epstein's and was brought to the US from Paris by her modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel when was 17. She had a 20 year friendship with Melania.
