Q5) Thinking about our Monthly Book Conversations, what aspect of our discussions or shared learning experience was most valuable to you? #BCSBookstudy
Helping others reach their potential is inherent to the role of an educator. I'm my work, this looks like being intentional and authentic in supporting others- admin, teachers, staff, students, etc.- paying forward the investment that others have made in me.
“Living by the bigger picture is seeing the world as it is, finding opportunities to help others become great, and using your skills, talents, and resources to help as many people as you can in the time that you have.” - @TheJohnCMaxwell
Q2) What might this look like in the work you do every day? #BCSBookstudy #LeadTheClimb
Don't keep score.. And Everyone has value. These two go together for me. I try to be intentional to do the right thing regardless of egos and see the value in all regardless of circumstances.
Q3) What is one idea, strategy, or perspective from "High Road Leadership" by @TheJohnCMaxwell that you will intentionally carry forward? #BCSBookstudy
It represents a lens I now see every challenge, success, and conflict through. Programs, policies, culture, etc. don't initiate/sustain on their own. It takes intentional leadership.
