Blood Centre Main Hospital, organised third consecutive Tiranga Rally today at AIIMS Campus in promotion of Voluntary Blood Donation Drive (9 Aug. 2024) to celebrate Independence Day.

More than 1000 people from AIIMS, NCC, NDRF, ITBP, NSG, SSB, RAC, RAK college of nursing and BSF participated in the rally.

The rally was flagged iff by Dr. Srinivas (Director, AIIMS), Shri. Sanjay Vishwarao (ADG, NCC),Dr Vinod Kumar (ADG Medical, CAPF) and Dr. Nirupam Madan (MS, AIIMS).

Blood Centre Main Hospital, Dept. Of Transfusion Medicine, AIIMS, New Delhi organised voluntary blood donation drive at JL Auditorium on 9th August 2024 celebrating 78th Independence Day. Shri. Pankaj Kumar Singh IPS, Deputy National Security Advisor inaugurated the occasion. Dr. M Srinivas, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi addressed the gathering and urged the importance of voluntary blood donation to aid the patients in need. Around 1400 blood donors participated in the event with a collection of 960 blood units. Dignitaries from various paramilitary forces, National Cadet Corps and Delhi Fire Service were felicitated in the event.

The Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Dr. (Prof.) M. Srinivas, expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude towards the dedicated team of gardeners for their unwavering commitment and hard work, which has significantly enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the AIIMS campus.

In recognition of their outstanding efforts, a special appreciation event was orchestrated to honor the gardening team, complete with a luncheon and tokens of gratitude to celebrate their invaluable contributions.

The gardeners expressed their dedication to continue maintaining the beauty of the AIIMS campus and serving the institution with diligence and pride.
