This is the village of Hathersage in the Hope Valley, catching the last light of the sun. Walking home after a long day, through the gate and into the hug of the hills, it’s a view that never fails to make me pause for a moment or two, counting my blessings. #peakdistrict
@eastlondonbee @BrentfordBIAS Thanks. Do you know which party triggered it and whether if triggered by HB the club could have refused within the terms of the contract?
@BrentfordBIAS The original 2021 HB deal was announced as a two year length, so contractually should have ended this summer. Which means the club have actively signed a new deal with them, not just continuing with an existing one - the comms from the club is quite misleading on this.
@BrentfordFC@umbro Really disappointed the club has continued with the Hollywood Bets sponsorship. Given the Toney situation, here was an opportunity to take a different path. Was looking forward to getting a Premiership era shirt, but still won’t buy one until there’s a different sponsor.
@Uber_Support I’ve unsubscribed from all marketing push notifications, yet I’m still plagued with them from you. What more do I need to do to make them stop?
@EastMidRailway What a shambles at St Pancras for services to Sheffield. Not honouring bookings on specific trains, no advance communication to passengers with bookings. What a joke, you knew that Euston was going to be closed so no excuse for it.
@BrentfordFC@PJansson5 I was initially a little sceptical about the signing, but delighted to have been proved utterly wrong. Thanks @PJansson5 and all the best for your Malmo homecoming.
This series (28!) of #DigiHuman is turning out to be one of the best. Always interesting, empathetic and goes down some unexpected but thought provoking routes. The episode on Salvage a prime example. https://t.co/9zti1l19sh
What utter tosh from the Mail On Sunday. Those with different opinions to @GaryLineker have plenty of outlets, eg The Govt, the Mail, the Express & The Telegraph. It’s not like he’s forcing his views, expressed on Twitter, on anyone.
Given the BBC Chairman has donated over £400k to the Conservative Party, and Robbie Gibb, ex-Tory Downing Street Director of Comms is on the BBC Board, it can hardly call itself impartial, so why the pressure on Gary Lineker? He’s free to express whatever views he wants.
