Dear Comrade Sudeepta Kalita,
You are holding a responsible position in the Trade Union Movement of the banking sector. First, let me make one thing absolutely clear: **being a Union leader is not merely about holding a position. A true leader must lead struggles whenever necessary and educate the members.**
As a leader, I genuinely fail to understand how you can represent your members with such narrow thinking and such a lack of understanding, especially when you seem to have forgotten the struggles our leadership has fought for us all these years and the fight that is still being carried forward for the benefit of bank employees even today.
Your respective leaders are also part of UFBU. Have you even taken the basic responsibility of asking them what exactly happened and understanding the issue before making such statements and behaving in such an undisciplined manner? **Remember, such conduct is not only irresponsible,it is an insult to your own leadership.**
As a leader, it is perfectly fine if you are unable to bring recognition to your leadership, but **please do not bring disrepute to them.** A leader's responsibility is to protect the dignity and credibility of the organization and its leadership, not to undermine it.
And about the **Bangles** ,what exactly are you trying to convey through that act? Do you believe bangles symbolize weakness? If so, are you trying to portray women who wear bangles as weak?
You are a responsible Union leader ** Also leader to Women in your Union**. Your responsibility should be to promote and strengthen women’s leadership, dignity and participation in the Trade Union Movement. But seeing such an act from someone in your position, and witnessing such narrow minded thinking, **I feel deeply ashamed and hurt as a woman.**
Even now, I sincerely urge you to **open your eyes and understand what true leadership actually means.**
Learn what qualities a genuine Union leader must possess.
**Show some integrity towards the Union.
Lead struggles responsibly.
Educate your members instead of misleading them.
Understand issues before making statements.
And most importantly, connect the Union with society and the larger interests of working people.**
And let me make one thing very clear: **we will not tolerate anyone speaking irresponsibly about AIBEA or making personal and baseless remarks against Com. CH Venkatachalam.** Be careful about the statements you make.
Just because you have the freedom and ability to write something does not mean you can write **whatever comes to your mind without understanding the facts or considering the consequences.**
**Think before you speak.
Understand before you accuse.
And behave with the responsibility expected from a Union leader.**
Please **mind this, my dear Comrade.**

We ask you to respect the commitments made to us. Bankers have no protection, and the commitments made to them are not valued. We are human too. **Recognise us. Respect us. Stand by your commitments.**
