@AbasiRussel@APEntertainment Slapping/punching are all classed as assault. Depending on the severity of the situation or if it had escalated then in a “normal life” situation the offender would’ve been arrested.
@vitamixer @RealMGMakaveli @APEntertainment I agree with you, I just mean maybe it was a publicity stunt to get more people talking about the show. Yes his actions are not justified and he reacted out of anger in the moment, people will definitely view him differently now.
@Froziac@APEntertainment Maybe that’s because he doesn’t want to continue it further, maybe he’s sympathetic that’s sometimes people do react out of anger, I do understand that why Chris said was offensive but it was a roast so it was taken too far. I would’ve pressed charges but everyone is different.
@iamsaqib@APEntertainment I thought that at first, but on the other hand what would be the point. I know they like the drama and they want people talking about the show but surely there’s enough publicity already. Who knows🤷🏻♀️
@NellyVonNelson @APEntertainment And you have a right to your own opinion just like I do. I’m honest and I would say it to his face if I had the chance. Just because he’s got status doesn’t mean the rules are different
@RealMGMakaveli @APEntertainment No it wasn’t deserve. Using violence shouldn’t be used as a solution to anything. Being an adult is having a conversation or mature argument about a situation not slapping someone in front of millions of people.
@DiscussingFilm@nekesamumbi No amount of fame or money should mean an act of assault should be overlooked. Yes Chris pressed a button he probably shouldn’t have but it’s a comedy act, a roast. Most people laugh it off if they don’t like it, not smack the host. Clearly shows the true nature of some people.
@menace__999@TIME Just because you are a follower/believer of ‘God’ doesn’t mean you can pray your way out of it. People make mistakes, but own up to it, apologise and move on. Don’t make excuse, don’t use your tears, don’t condone your actions. Admit to your mistakes and apologise.
@menace__999@TIME Sorry but he’s crying because he doesn’t want to lose his career. He’s not sorry, when he should be. Comedians make digs at people, there are multiple tv shows and award shows were comedians do “roasts”. Pretty sure ‘God’ doesn’t want you going round smacking people.
