Today is #MentalHealthNursesDay celebrating the amazing role of our nurses. In the next 2 years, I will be a part of a rewarding and humbling role as a MHN. I can't wait to support individuals on their recovery journey towards a healthier life.
I've tried to stay positive with the low number of signatures with my petition,this really does affect everyone even if your healthy.

It's better to say "took their own life" or "died by suicide". Remember, words matter, and the victims of suicide are just that, victims.
Don't feel bad if you've used that term before, it's easy to do it. But now you know, help us spread the word.
Let's be committed to not saying "committed".
Suicide has not been a crime in the UK since 1961. When we use terms like "committed suicide", we make the issue more difficult to talk about and prolong the pain for the person's loved ones.
