BREAKING: Just 20 minutes before Trump's announcement that the Strait of Hormuz was open, massive trades hit the market.
Investors sold a combined 7,990 lots of Brent crude futures, a $760 million bet that oil would go down.
These orders were much larger than anything else at the time.
The traders made huge gains.
Unusual.
The housing market is running out of buyers:
There were an estimated 46.3% more home sellers than buyers in February 2026, the biggest difference since Redfin data began in 2013.
This gap has widened sharply from 29.8% a year ago, marking the strongest market for buyers in over a decade.
By comparison, there were a record 36.0% more buyers than sellers in November 2022.
This comes as the number of active homebuyers fell -2.4% MoM, to ~1.36 million, the lowest since at least 2013.
At the same time, the number of sellers declined -0.4% MoM to ~1.99 million, posting a smaller decrease than homebuyers.
Further home price cuts are likely coming.
The US debt crisis is heading into uncharted territory:
The US government spent 18 cents of every Dollar of revenue on interest expense in Fiscal Year 2025, the highest since the 1990s.
Interest expense as a percentage of revenue has TRIPLED since 2015.
The CBO projects this will surge to a record 25 cents of every Dollar by 2035, meaning a quarter of all tax revenue will go to servicing debt alone.
These projections assume no major slowdown, recession, or significant rise in Treasury yields over this period.
The US debt crisis is intensifying.
@Polymarket Hahaha you’re 7 years too late. Electrical manufacturers care even less about your lead times than the world does about oil deliveries. They will blame supply chain but theyve maintained the delays since covid along with many other manufacturers that enjoy the backlog.
Murray: Is it true that people making under $184k pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate?
Dahl: Yes
Murray: And the rate for someone making $1 million?
Dahl: 2.2%
Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184k, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.
@disclosetv@grok is the US constitutionally allowed to declare war without the support or involvement of the other branches of power? Regardless of who is in charge
