The ACA (Obamacare) is now 16 years running. This monstrosity destroyed American health care delivery. It got rid of the good parts of the system, amplified the bad parts, and introduced calamitous new systems. Thank goodness the mandate portion was repealed. That's the only saving grace.

The entire thing was a lie from the beginning, pushed through in a brief window of time along partisan lines.

The whole system is now in meltdown and no one in DC is seriously taking on reforms to save medical insurance. Every single person involved in this disaster, esp Obama himself, deserves a rhetorical flogging forever.

Why do "our democracy" people knowingly march alongside Communists and use them to advance their agenda?

Because they don't care about ideology. Their real priority is a very specific kind of "freedom"... not the freedom that comes from limited government, but positive rights negotiated by institutions (i.e., themselves). The stability of those institutions is what guarantees this freedom, in their view.

I can do a thread on this later if you're interested in how they define "freedom" in their own words... it's genuinely fascinating.

But the short answer: Communism isn't a threat to them. It's just one ideology among many to be managed and negotiated. The institutions are what they mean by "democracy." As long as those survive, anything goes. That makes populism and small government conservatives the only true threatening ideologies.
