@AishaPhysEd It's a tricky one.... Going into teaching PE I had assumed we've reached a time where girls are taught football in pe. But maybe it is in year 7 they are taught most sports. Then as they lose interest as they get older pe teachers change the sports on the curriculum.

Focus on pivots(forward and back), different rip throughs (low and high), jab step, open step, close step, rocker step and plently more.
Ball each = repetition.
Simple but effective
@MrDennisonPE Start with some knowledge recall with different demonstrations from the students.
Then progress into an task which you can differentiate by activity. Add some element of competition. Progress into some form of passing game.
Try to have a creative plenary that it active.
