What changed for me?

Discipline! Used to over trade and dig holes for myself but the moment I limited myself to Day, Time and Price I can see the small light at the end of the tunnel.

Look at the images below, overtrading galore and terrible risk management lol.

Honestly, I came so close to giving up when I went so deep into minus figures on the demo account.

I used to tell myself I'm the worst trader in the world even though I watched and studied every ICT video religiously lol

Hopefully now the only way is up.

Apologies, I am up 1k in a 100k demo account*

I finally managed to come out of negative in my demo account.
Although this might not be a big deal, to me this is indication that I am now improving as a trader.
2 months ago I was -£23k and now I'm up £101k.
Patience, study, practice and the consistency will improve.

Why can I trade demo accounts but when it comes to live funds, I have a meltdown?! lol.

I think i have serious psychological barriers.

Anyhow, we go straight back to the drawing board and back into a demo account.

If anyone can share some knowledge or wisdom it would be great.

I also think I need to join a trading community with likeminded new traders. Where do i even find this?

Haven't touched down on here for a while, sorry guys. Was trying to go for the funded account and was unsuccessful unfortunately.

Key takeaways from the experience:

I revenge & overtrade... a lot!
Everything looks good in hindsight until you jump into a live market.

Day 1 of MFF Funded account evaluation results.

Trades placed: 2

1st Trade: Lost - $60.50
2nd Trade: Win - $96.50

A bit of nervousness considering I wanted a good start on my evaluation.

Got off to a bad start by not taking partials (didn’t know how to on MT4) LOL

Day 2 of MFF Funded account evaluation results.

Trades placed: 3

1st Trade: Win - $68.
2nd Trade: Win - $22.25
3rd Trade: Win - $16.00

Couldn't look at the charts much today, so a couple of scalps had to do to make my 1% gain.

1% a day I'm targeting.

2nd trade, I wanted to balance the books and also find out how to partial trades.
I was thinking of taking a third trade but I'm trying to stay disciplined and make a habit of only taking two trades per day.
