The proposed 'Maharashtra Devasthan Inam Abolition Draft Act 2026' poses a major difficulty for temple lands and their management. Millions of temple trustees across the state are strongly opposing this law.

​In this regard, a memorandum was submitted to the Hon. Chief Minister Shri @Dev_Fadnavis ji, in the presence of the National Organizer of Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh, Shri Sunil Ghanwat, as well as the popular MLA from Shrigonda, Hon. Shri @PratapPachpute ji, and the popular MLA from Dhamangaon Railway, Hon. Shri @PratapAdsad ji.

​Recognizing the gravity of this matter, the Chief Minister has immediately directed the concerned ministers and officials to convene a meeting. Temple lands must remain protected!
