Today, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) celebrates a remarkable patriot, institution builder, and visionary leader, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, Founder and Founding National Chairman of our great party, as he marks his 67th birthday.
For nearly two decades, Chief Nwosu has remained steadfast in his commitment to building a political platform anchored on democratic values, national unity, inclusion, and principled leadership. Through seasons of challenge and triumph, his conviction that Nigeria deserves a better political culture has never changed.
His legacy is not merely the creation of a political party, but the nurturing of an institution that continues to provide hope for millions of Nigerians who believe in democratic transformation and nation-building.
As he celebrates this milestone, we honour his vision, his sacrifice, and his enduring contributions to strengthening democracy in Nigeria.
On behalf of the National Working Committee, leaders, members, and supporters of the African Democratic Congress, we wish Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu good health, renewed strength, and many more years of impact in service to our nation.
Happy 67th Birthday, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu.

You people can not stifle Peter Obi or his supporters. The popularity you are enjoying today is anchored mainly on PO.
You deliberately denied majority of his supporters ticket at the Federal level, now you want to control his core support base.
It won't happen.
Dear Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, @NOIweala, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the recent loss of your beloved younger brother, Prince Ikechukwu Okonjo, who, until his passing, was a respected member of the Umu Obi Obahai royal family of the Ogwashi-Uku kingdom in Delta State. I understand how deeply painful it is to bury a family member.
My family and I hold you and yours in our thoughts and prayers. May you and your loved ones find strength during this difficult time. We pray that his soul rest in peace. -AA
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Attention: Seriake Dickson @iamHSDickson and the NDC @NigeriaNDCHQ, we are keenly watching, and any attempt to gag or intimidate Peter Obi or encroach on the internal workings of the Obidient Movement will lead to severe consequences.
The Obidient Movement has never and will never be affiliated with any political party, except to the person of Mr. Peter Obi @PeterObi.
However, some individual members of the movement are at liberty to join or be affiliated with political parties, but not on behalf of the movement.
We will resist any attempt to directly or indirectly meddle in our affairs or with the person of H.E. Mr. Peter Obi.
Kindly note that the person who brought life into your party can also take that life back. Respect is reciprocal and boundaries MUST be respected. That's all for now as we watch your utterances and actions.
Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter!!!
Happy birthday, @MyksonDosSantos.
Your creativity and the powerful video edits you craft from our archive have not gone unnoticed. They are impactful.
May this new year bring you joy, good health, and every success. Nigeria will work again, and supporters like you are why. -AA
Kwankwaso Threatens to Leave NDC if His Candidates Are Replaced as Party Insists on 60/40
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has replaced several candidates earlier submitted by the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State over an alleged breach of a power-sharing agreement according to report by Dailypost.
According to a document signed by Kano State NDC Chairman, Hon. Hussaini Isah Mairiga, the changes were made to reflect the earlier agreement on the distribution of party positions and elective tickets between the existing NDC structure and the Kwankwasiyya bloc.
The document was copied to National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson, Kwankwasiyya leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and the NDC North-West Zonal Chairman.
Under the revised list, the party approved the following for Federal Constituencies:
β’ Barrister Ismaβil Idris Sani β Kumbotso
β’ Nasiru Ali Ahmed β Nassarawa
β’ Kabiru Ishaq Saβid β Kano Municipal
β’ Barrister Dayyabu Jamilu Ibrahim β Doguwa/Tudun Wada
β’ Muhammad Hamisu Abubakar β Dawakin Tofa/Rimin Gado/Tofa
β’ Ibrahim Bashir Bango β Sumaila/Takai
β’ Abdulmajid Isa Umar Mairigar Fata β Gwale
Adjustments were also made to State House of Assembly tickets in Dala, Tarauni, Kumbotso, Ungogo, and Dawakin Kudu constituencies.
The NDC explained that there was a standing agreement for elective positions and party offices to be shared on a 60-40 basis, with the Kwankwasiyya bloc receiving 60% and the original party structure retaining 40%.
@ruffydfire Lere Olayinka must not hear that you're a journalist oooo. You're a politician, but using the privilege as a half-baked journalist to campaign for Mr Agbotikuyo.
