The PRFC has implemented a 31.0 inch max size on Striped Bass in its waters effective May 16, 2023. The new maximum size is in place through December 31, 2023.

📣Attention recreational and charter boat fishermen!📷 The PRFC will be implementing new measures for Striped Bass: 31.0 inch maximum size for Striped Bass from May 16 to July 6 and from Aug 21 to Dec 31, 2023. Bag limit remains at 2 fish/person/day @ 20.0 inch minimum
All other rec size limits, spawning protections, gear restrictions, and spawning protections remain. States required to implement compliant measures asap, no later than July 2, 2023. emergency action in place for 180 days and ext for up to a year at Oct meeting.
@ASMFC Striper Board passed emergency action to implement a 31″ max rockfish to existing rec regulations where a higher (or no) max size applies, excluding Chesapeake trophy fisheries.
