@IANdrewDiceClay Absolutely, and because she doesn’t do a weekly podcast she doesn’t get to launder her history like Russo and Bischoff do. But TNA was supposed to be an alternative and she thought they were a competitor, and could beat Vince with guys he didn’t want anymore
@LightYagami101@TheRajGiri Sure, but she just bought the steak. When it was time to cook it, they just limped through two NWO retreads until his contract was up. She didn’t do much in creative, but I think that time is remembered more as what could have been
@TheGameFreak000@NotThatTomGreen 84 to 86 was really the heyday. Their big events were Star Wars and the Parade of Champions, those are as good as it got
@hollinger I agree, but I think his commentary needs to be more occasional. He spends a lot of time putting over the babyfaces, which doesn’t fit with a weasely manager. Heenan wouldn’t talk about Rick Martel being an amazing athlete if he was facing Haku at the moment
This is why horror movies rock, because people are absolutely stupid enough to not take off running like The Flash at first sight of someone like this, making all implausible dummies in scary movies plausible.
@RealMissyHyatt Is six man tag wrestling a style? Unless there’s some real stakes like The Freebirds and Von Erichs, there’s no heat. In a shoot, why would you need to win in a 6 man match? Does it raise your standings in the rankings?
@IANdrewDiceClay In his book, Heenan has a couple chapters about it. Mostly perceived slights. Not waving to him at a restaurant, not sharing information. One thing was Tony tried the physical threats Gorilla made, but Bobby couldn’t sell them because Tony was just an announcer
@McFranchisee Why does the cheeseburger and double cheeseburger patties taste different than the quarter pounders? I used to like the QP but now I much prefer the single patties in the triple cheeseburger
@TrevorDame No one was supposed to be in the same territory for 30 years. That’s not how wrestling was until very recently when WWE ate up the competition. You did 9 months in Memphis, a few months in Dallas, a year in New York; and everyone stayed fresh. But WWE brought this on themselves
One fun thing about WWE's modern marketing is when retiring wrestlers do the bow down and kiss the canvas thing they're now smooching logos for things like "Kid Kloudz: The First Vape for Children."
I’ve never understood why some parents expect you to let their kid cut you in the bathroom line “but my daughter really has to go” bitch this chick is 7 years old if she pees her pants literally no one will care if I pee my pants I’m getting sent to rehab
