@jasonkolb Walked into vineyard vines a month ago and they had almost no stock. They shipped it back to warehouses to sell online during the lockdown. Said to wait for fall shipments...
Selling weed literally went from major felony to essential business (open during pandemic) in much of America & yet many are still in prison. Doesn’t make sense, isn’t right.
@elonmusk 6) I love that you're building without needing DSRC or 5G, but we still need to predict and anticipate what those BSMs would like for every fucking road and parking spot in the known universe.
@elonmusk 5) DOTs and local municipalities house a lot of useful data for this, but you have to know how to frack it (we do). As cities upgrade infrastructure, you need to be sucking in the data to improve the V2AI models and update variables and conditions in real-time.
@elonmusk 3) This could be predicting traffic signal timing for the every intersection in the world, predicting when and where a pothole will form, anticipating the traffic jam crossing the train track as the commuter rail goes by so you don't get stuck on the track when the gates go down,
@elonmusk 2) It becomes one giant geo-referenced context server for the built environment that's constantly updating with known and predicted elements for everything around the vehicle and anticipating what's next.
@elonmusk 1) You're going to need more than just AI on your own data to make autonomy work. You need a "V2AI" layer to create a data mesh between your vehicles, data emitted from non-Tesla vehicles without true V2V, and workaround the lack of V2I with the local infrastructure.
