@LORWEN108 One of the craziest things about history is the lack of shoes. Read the biography of John Adams. He was relatively well off. Yet his family often went barefoot around their farm in the dead of winter. Soldiers back then often had no boots. Footwear was unnecessary or a luxury.
@brettws89@caitoz Ask any AI who kills more in terror attacks: Sunni or Shia? In the last 30 years Sunni terrorists have killed around 200,000. Shia maybe 3,000. Difference is that Sunni partner with Israel to oppose Iran. So they are ignored. Remember 9/11?
@caitoz@Kathleen_Tyson_ US laws regarding concealed carry shootings specify that whoever instigates a confrontation cannot claim self defense. Punch someone who then pulls a knife, you cannot then shoot them in ”self defense”. Common sense. Doesn’t apply to IDF or their Centcom subsidiary.
@disgusting_pleb Pricing in the probability that somehow the richest man in history will play hardball against a competitor that poses an existential threat. IMHO the odds of next two launches resulting in six satellites in perfect orbit is 50/50. If successful I’m back in.
@LeoCapital_01@SpaceX Agree with everything you said. Essentially means ASTS is existential threat to Starlink. Without Starlink margins the entire SpaceX sham collapses. Which is existential for Elon. I sense he will do whatever he can to delay ASTS initial constellation. Huge potential. Huge risk.
@jedimarkus77 Long ago I got into a conversation with some spook on a plane about Iraq and WMDs. He suggested I read The Fist of God. Great book. Forsyth is a master storyteller. I’ve probably watched the original The Jackal a dozen times.
@FurkanGozukara@mcm_ct_usa Watched the whole interview. Never heard about a cop shooting Crooks first. Never heard the Fed sniper waited 23 seconds from seeing Crooks before firing. Never heard the Crooks autopsy was “incomplete”. Silva dug up truth nuggets that MSM buried. This story begs a final chapter.
