@summerpennell @StobbeEmily I understand that the ideas that queer theory uses are complex, but I still think that using a plain style, or as much of a plain style as is possible, would serve most queer theorists well. @summerpennell @StobbeEmily ...which feels...rather counterproductive? Some authors we read discussed ways to make queer theory more useful in actual politics, and I think that one way in which this could be done is in the language employed by those writing in queer theory.
