Dr. Matt Poling @RudderAssoc and Texas State Rep. Brian Harrison @brianeharrison have been busy commenting from behind their safe spaces, attacking, dismissing, and demeaning the actions that Dr. Martin Peterson and I took to expose the real consequences of Texas A&M’s censorship of topics related to race, gender, and sexuality.
In response, we invited them to publicly debate the merits of TAMU’s 08.01 policy. So far—silence!
It seems easier to attack from a distance than to defend your position face-to-face. The offer still stands. Name the place. Name the time.
🚨🚨 Texas A&M Board of Regents is meeting next week and set to approve a new policy requiring pre-approval of courses on race, gender, and sexuality. This is a blatant violation of academic freedom.
In 2021, the faculty senate at the University of Texas at Austin arrogantly stated that they were not accountable to the Texas Legislature or UT Board of Regents. They passed a resolution stating they were going to teach Critical Race Theory to UT students no matter what the legislature or taxpayers thought.
I replied at the time: “I will not stand by and let looney Marxist UT professors poison the minds of young students with Critical Race Theory. We banned it in publicly funded K-12 and we would ban it in publicly funded higher ed.”
Tonight, with final passage of Senate Bill 37, the faculty senate at the University of Texas at Austin had their power stripped and found out the Legislature does have authority over faculty senates after all!
Here’s an idea for them to consider: these looney Marxist UT professors should find a friendly blue state to move to so we can fill their roles with quality conservative professors who will teach critical thinking.
Yippie Ki Yay! Adios! Sayonara! Auf Wiedersehen! Au Revoir! In every language you can possibly think of:
Goodbye!

White House attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion may be new, but in Texas, this attack has been going on for some time. #DEI advocates and organizers share lessons learned along the way. https://t.co/lLo7pM1bPd @queermigrations
Gotta love sloppy research by @TPPF’s Sherry Sylvester who repeats the wrong claim that there’s 400 classes on gender and 200 on race at @UTAustin. She didn’t even bother to account for cross lists. Numbers are not near that. With “expert” testimony like this, @SenCreighton…
