I’m starting to think drogba 09/10 is the goat prem campaign. He got a goal contribution in 26 of the 32 games he played, only blanking in 6 games. That is 81.25% of games. For reference salah 24/25 is 73.7%, Henry 02/03 is 75.7%, and Suarez 13/14 is 69.7% (via transfermarket)

Yeah… this is the lowest point this sport has ever been.

For the first time ever, players are literally self-campaigning for the Ballon d’Or like it’s some presidential election. They are talking down on each other, disrespecting clubs, and creating metrics by themselves. Neither Messi nor Ronaldo ever did this nonsense.

At this point, cancel the award for this year. Don’t give it to anyone. This is borderline shameful. None of these players pass the character requirements for the award.
