@wholemars Therefore, the biggest impact on the shockwave of adoption will occur when AI3 cars achieve some type of version 14 light versus the impact of a new AI5 Chip in a couple years.
@kylepaultests People who are considering an EV / Tesla are weighing the technical specs as a primary consideration with cost/build being a secondary and negotiable consideration. Therefore, they are not considering a $40,000 Tesla versus a $40,000 Subaru.
If a consumer is shopping for EV as the primary factor, the vehicles you listed are no longer in the mix of options regardless of price. In addition, a savvy shopper understands that financing cost, fuel cost, and maintenance cost are significant contributors to the overall financial impact of the decision. Few “new” car consumers determine their desired MSRP price first with the secondary step of listing cars within their MSRP budget. Value/low budget shoppers are wading in the “used” inventory market.
@SahilPunamia@SawyerMerritt What if I didn’t pay for it outright but instead purchased a used car with FSD already included? I would rather have lifetime transfer ability versus a one time purchase credit.
