@tom7lawrence@upthesaints The process takes time. They need to gather all the evidence.
Doesn't have any baring on the outcome but if they don't impose sanction they set a dangerous precident.
@tom7lawrence@upthesaints The league imposed the ban on Southampton. They had no authority over charging individuals.
The FA (who have since announced investigation) have that power and haven't decided yet.
@Cabbage_Face Think those Southampton fans who think it will just go back to how it was at the end of last season might be in for a shock.
Time will tell.
@Cabbage_Face It's an interesting story. Just that.
I personally don't think morale from players will be where it was even if they say it is.
No chance FA don't impose a ban anyway after what came out yesterday and its weird that the club didn't get ahead of this. Another PR mess.
@Puel_Out@Scottwilsonecho No apology to teams they spied on.
Owners statement about double jeapordy.
That's why.
Anyway it will be interesting to see start of next season. Your players were pissed at him. Can that relationship be repaired?
@charliewring1 Pompey fan π
Not scared.
I think that there is no repairing the relationship between players missing out on massive pay rises / bonuses and a manager who is the reason they missed out.
Predict about 10-15 games into next season when morale isnt good he will be gone.

Seeing Boro, Pompey, and all other fans absolutely losing their minds over the fact our owner has decided to stick by Tonda really proves how scared they are of us next season. #SaintsFC
@kellzik@tractorboyns@BBCMOTD Nobody is entitled to the premier league. Missing out isn't a punishment especially if you potentially were going to get there by cheating.
Plenty of clubs missed out on the prem (21 of the 24 champ sides) most of those didn't spy on opponents.
@UnitedRo4d@BBCMOTD@BBCSport Probably out of their hands.
After that info yesterday there is zero chance the FA don't impose some sort of a ban IMO.
They have to send a message.
@RalphInUEFA How do people not understand this? Bielsa was morally wrong but he was just bending the rules at the time.
Tonda was fully aware of the rules and broke them.
@GraemeDawson@Betfair ππππ
Don't place a bet that you can't handle if it loses.
Many variables in football and, whilst this one is unique, its just another variable.
You've 0 chance of getting your money back.
@Skyblue160587@dharvey4 Mousinho has created a great relationship with the fans. Was open and honest with us when Bristol job was linking him. Said no plans to leave but unrealistic to say he stays forever
No chance he takes scum job because he knows he wont last long and then lose respect from 2 clubs
@AdamAzor@kierannkater98@MarkJLittlewood Hey I'm sorry I didn't mean to rob those 3 banks. Nobody died so life in prison is far too harsh. I made Β£200m so how about you fine me Β£20m and we call it quits.
I'm remorseful now I've been caught and promise not to do it again.
π
@_scsc_@SaintsExtra@GraemeBailey Players lost respect for manager who cost them the final.
Really think that relationship can be repaired?
As a pompey fan im loving the car wreck and would like to see that outcome but honestly it goes deeper than what you're saying.
Not a scum fan. (The opposite actually) but if reports of players being pissed are true they have lost all respect for Tonda and lay the blame at his feet.
That makes his position untenable as when you lose that trust you don't get the performance levels.
@SaintsExtra@GraemeBailey I think this is a bad decision. Admittedly would be hard for him to get peopleβs confidence back, but at the same time itβs undeniable we have been great under him- I donβt think thatβs all down to spying.
