@mileshuntTWS Happy Birthday Miles, hope you have a great day. Looking forward to the Lincoln gig, never forget the Marquee 10 legged groove machine gig all those years ago, one of the very best , saw you the two nights before as well at the Brixton Academy x
@MikeyMcMahon Smith instilled confidence into our defenders last season. Pym was flapping at crosses last night, that’s worrying going forward. Hopefully Cartwright starts well and the defenders offer adequate protection. It’s a clean slate, my fingers are crossed that he’s a good signing.
@4sec7@3QPeteRose Sustainability is being targeted via player recruitment, development, offloading players that do not fit the mould. Securing our best players on longer contracts and improving the squad over time, and it takes time, not every signing will work. The future for #GTFC looks fine.
@mattdannatt Shame for Reece, at least we will get to see Sweeney back, who started really well last season, he liked to play on the front foot, and will slot in nicely and give us options whilst Reece recovers
@JohnnyDineen I agree Johnny, first time for a long time that England will not potentially be playing against a low block defence. If England score 1st it will be game over. These knockout games against better opposition suit England
@mattdannatt I spotted their home record pre-tournament and backed them at 80/1 England will be favourites, and wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to penalties
@BarstewardsThe@invictalit The Eddery ride on Dancing Brave in one of the greatest Arcs I’ve ever seen was fantastic. Balls of steel to wait, and come down the outside .
Cameraman did his best to ruin it though!
@LincolnMariner#GTFC owners are sensible and dig as deep as they can, Jamestown model gives us value for money and they keep the club as sustainable as possible. If Smith was offered more money, he would be stupid to turn it down. Keep believing, the recruitment team are smart operators #UTFM
@BenGTFCBell He’s gone for the money, I would think on his new salary he would have been our highest paid player and that was never going to happen. We have a budget and we have to be sensible, simple as that.
@1stwordinsport Interesting to hear you talk about the Bloom model and how the manager would do at Rangers. My team (Grimsby Town) use Blooms Jamestown model and performances and quality in recruitment has definitely improved. When Potter left Brighton he struggled. Grass isn’t always greener
