Ngl, I ran Instagram ads last year to get more freelance work.

I got 13 enquiries.

All 13 had no idea what a Shopify developer actually does.

Yes, I voluntarily removed 97.5% of my X followers

Why?

Because most of my followers came years ago from random sources.

My personal brand has evolved a lot of the years but my Twitter account has been sitting in the background.

This is an entirely different frontend foundation to build your store on and one I believe is more targeted towards solopreneurs than enterprise stores on Shopify.

I guess this is more for Lovable users who - excuse the pun - love Lovable and want to use it to create a store.

Woke up this morning to a lot of hype around this new integration - so I decided to dig in and see what’s really going on.

From what I can see:

It's a smart business move - Lovable keeps users within its ecosystem, and Shopify gains extra signups. Win-win.

But this isn’t something you can use to build themes or plug into your existing theme.
