This one hits especially close to home.
My grandfather grew up just a couple of blocks away from where this crime took place. My dad went to Berwick High School.
Horrifying.
PEDOPHILE CHARGED WITH REPEATEDLY RAPING A CHILD UNDER 13
Miguel Adan Lux Pu, an illegal alien from Guatemala, was previously deported and illegally reentered the U.S.
Our message to those who prey on children is CLEAR: We will hunt you down, arrest you, and DEPORT you.
USCIS asylum bureaucrats have told me they see hundreds of exactly the same “persecution” stories- same bad cop, same street corner, same bad acts. But that their bosses VERBALLY order them to accept all and if they don’t, get reviewed and overruled. Ding on employee evaluations
Cowards like @JohnCornyn mortgaged our children’s future for government handouts and cheap labor. Now they are joining with Democrats to elect Marxists. Absolutely contemptible people.
I have spent 20 years telling everyone that people on this list are not Republicans. The fact that they have less power and influence than ever is a blessing to our state.
TOMORROW.
Huge list of speakers. One stage. One day.
Immigration. Texas. $20 burritos. MAHA. AI. Lonsdale vs. Allen. Then the convention watch party, Charlie Kirk tribute + FORUM Afterparty.
If you’re in Dallas, stop wondering what you’re doing Wednesday. This is it.

Just a reminder that Ken Paxton didn’t just promise to endorse and support Cornyn if GOP voters chose him, he offered to drop out of the race if Cornyn could pass the SAVE Act.
Cornyn promised voters he would support Paxton and then broke that promise. #TXSen
🚨 BREAKING: The full Fifth Circuit has issued an major ruling: illegal aliens have no constitutional right to roam free inside the United States while their removal proceedings play out.
I'm excited to announce another TOTAL PATRIOT VICTORY.
About three years ago, the Texas Young Republican Federation abandoned the @TexasGOP over disputes with then-chairman @MattRinaldiTX. The Party formed a new youth auxiliary—the since highly successful @YRsOfTexas. In response, TYRF sued a dozen young Republicans individually claiming that TYRF (a bunch of RINOs, who didn't want to affiliate with the actual Republican Party) could control whether the dozen youngsters could call themselves "Young Republicans" and affiliate with the very Party that TYRF had abandoned.
TYRF said they were going to "SUE THEM TO DEATH" and "DRAG THEM IN THE GUTTER OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM." I was glad to defend the dozen members and the new, party-affiliated YRs organization.
Today the Dallas Court of Appeals rendered judgment dismissing the last of TYRF's claims against the new organization and its members. Soon we'll go back to the trial court to see if we can collect attorney's fees against TYRF for the three years of litigation they imposed on a bunch of innocent young patriots.
As many of you know, I was involved with Young Conservatives of Texas and was never too keen on these legacy YR organizations. They seemed more interested in chasing their own tails and in petty identity battles than in advancing conservative principles or the Republican Party. I'm glad I was able to help defend YRT and its right to organize young activists who actually want to advance the GOP. It's long past time for these vindictive legacy organizations to fade away and for aggressive, constructive patriots to take up the mantle from them.
At the Texas GOP Convention in June, I was highly impressed with the event that YRT put on. There was a packed room for a bunch of rising GOP leaders. That's the energy we need in the party, not people who think they can control others' speech and then fail miserably as they try to abuse the legal system.
Kudos to @IsaacJLaster and the organization on the big win. Congrats also to @RealConbo who carried a lion's share of the work on this case and did an A+ job arguing the case at the court of appeals.
The court's opinion will be posted below in the replies.

AMNESTY ALERT! @CongressmanGT has introduced a bill (HR 9535) to give amnesty to illegal aliens who have worked (or claim to have worked) in agriculture in the US. His bill would also expand the H-2A visa for “temporary or seasonal” agricultural workers to year-round workers, while purposefully lowering wages for these foreign workers, so Americans will be wholly excluded from entire industries. @tomgglass Tom, did you see this coalition letter True Texas Project put together?
I think your idea of a tax disadvantage (could do through the Franchise Tax) on companies who are reliant on foreign work visas could be another strengthening policy to advance the same goal.
This week, we were proud to sign onto a @TrueTXProject coalition letter to @GregAbbott_TX urging action against universities who continue to flout his H-1B hiring freeze.
Texas jobs are for Texans!
Read the letter below:
We have a major problem when this many H-1b employees are stealing American jobs in DFW alone.
Think of how many Texans were told to learn how to code just to be completely undermined by a nation that has imported cheaper competition.

Asked John Cornyn if he feels like he has more freedom now, and he said with a smile: “Are you kidding? Of course. Absolutely. My liberation day: May 26.”
(That was the day he lost the runoff to Paxton)
