I have a Substack! First article dropped today. Will likely post once per week for the first several weeks then pull back a bit. Much of what I write about has been sparked by our conversation at the Game Economist Cast. Feel free to subscribe! https://t.co/vAAywPEJFI
@gayrabbi TBH, Nate is currently experiencing what most academics feel when they get a null or stat insig result. Tons of work and then the model spits out a nothing burger.
Serious question, does the gap between PredictIt and Polymarket pose an arbitrage opportunity? You'd think if the market were efficient, they would be equal.
@Noahpinion My guess is that small liberal arts schools are seeing lower enrollment while large state schools are seeing greater. For example, Purdue and Illinois have record cohort sizes while colleges like Augustana and UW Oshkosh enrollment is collapsing.
@ProofOfDork I think it's the fact that games with good onboarding, thus far, have very limited web3 components and decentralization. It's an "if", not an "if and only if".
Aephia never ceases to amaze me. What a wonderful use of on-chain data. Am I correct that you could also spy on what other players are up to if you have their profile?
We've build a new @StarAtlas dashboard called "My Star Atlas" 🚀
You'll need a free account on flipside to access this.
Enter your player profile in the box and you're good to go.
Let's have a closer look 🧐

@econosopher People have said 2+ million connected users thus far. Not sure where they are directly querying this information. I've just seen it communicated in articles.
@TheStalwart Driving might be over but cars will remain. In fact with the increased autonomy, I bet the interior of cars will become even cooler and more important. Luxury on the inside will be really important.
One of my worst habits is adding small analyses/explorations to the bottom of completely unrelated code. Then I proceed to completely lose the analysis.
Obvi this is a joke but it does bring up an important debate that hasn't really been settled. How much of a game should be on chain. Balance transfers? Damage? Progression points?
