Twitter’s really stuck in a hard place, having to pay creators to stop them moving to competing platforms but doing so at the risk of alienating advertisers who don’t want to be seen as funding content which is antithetical to their brand values
Just had my first and last (terrible) experience with @boltapp - overcharged 60% (against expected fare)... had to call Customer Service to find out status of dispute, was told ‘it is impossible to refund any of the amount as the passenger made it to the destination’... #fail
