I was deeply saddened to hear the news about our friend and colleague, George. He was one of the first SAEM members I met and I made it a point to seek him out at conferences to express my gratitude for his help over the years. His absence from SAEM will be deeply felt. 🕊️💔🙏🏽

Seriously. Who steals a family’s newly purchased Christmas tree? This happened to a man in San Mateo on Friday evening, 10 minutes after he went into a store to run an errand.

Watch as the white SUV person snips each rope & loads the tree into his vehicle like it’s no big deal.

SMPD told me yesterday this is a unique situation and “even though we didn’t catch this Grinch he/she is definitely getting added to Santa’s Naughty List”.

PS: I sped up the video since the original provided by a nearby business was pretty long. The Scrooge isn’t even moving quickly. Like he/she has not a care in the world…
