@C0pyrgg@Spoogynova (in case you don't know) On another note Qwel had step back from her position to learn from her mistakes and try to make herself a better person
we will see what unfolds when she comes back
@C0pyrgg@Spoogynova I mean at the looks of it yes with there most recent update they've been averaging over 2000 players for the last three days

The techniques devs (mostly Tim) have worked tirelessly on this, on a short deadline. This is SPC's own ensemble of best-performing REFS/HRRR members. I think the pan and zoom is really cool:

An intrusion shook Kīlauea’s summit last night, September 30.
Dozens of earthquakes, rapid ground deformation, and shifting activity beneath Halemaʻumaʻu showed that magma was making a new path underground.
Scientists are watching closely and on an overflight this morning, saw that lava is still visible within the north vent.

Tracking a potential flash flood setup starting over the next hour lasting through Thursday evening in KC.
Flooding rains are setting up to the northwest. As the front drifts southeastward, the flooding rains could position itself over the metro.
A record high PWAT (atmospheric moisture) for October was measured this morning by the Topeka weather balloon. Tropical moisture is stacked over Kansas & Missouri from the remnants of Hurricane Polo, resulting in efficient rainfall rates today. @fox4kc@fox4wx#KCwx#KSwx#MOwx
KC FLOOD RISK HAS INCREASED
Update 7 am Thursday 10/1/26
- The newest data now focuses the heaviest rain over the general KC area
- While it is not a certainty, the odds for 3-6” in the metro have gone up
- There’s a chance the heaviest rain that will fall this afternoon misses just to the east, but this is now a lower odds scenario
- Be prepared for hazardous commutes with poor visibility, hydroplaning, and standing water in roads
- Timing is in two primary waves:
#1 - This morning through 10 am
We may get a lull 11 am - 2 pm
#2 - The heaviest round - 3-7 pm
- It’s a bad combo of the worst conditions during the busiest times
- If you get water in your basement, dry it ASAP with fans, shop vacs, whatever you can to avoid mold
