Clarets, we’re heading Stateside 🇺🇸
Three fixtures across the USA this July, as we face FC Cincinnati, Columbus Crew and Real Salt Lake, before welcoming Espanyol to Turf Moor later in the month
@BFCTurf Tbf we’ve never had a full on kind of tour like this. It’s just been a training camp and then 1 game at the end or sommet. In a normal summer I’d have been tempted to go but not paying World Cup prices for a flight. I can see the logic in doing it this summer tho
@SeanPricey92@SennaBurnley We’ve been to Huddersfield about 5 times in the last 10 years in the league though, so why would anyone bother going in pre season? A trip to America to see Burnley and a trip to Huddersfield are completely incomparable
@SennaBurnley I know people say pre season isn’t for fans, but i think it can be personally. Anyone lucky enough to be able to afford to potentially go, faces eye watering flight costs due to the World Cup. I’d have been tempted by going, but not this summer at those prices
It feels like it gets said every summer, but the championship is going to be tough next season. With American investment from Birmingham, Wrexham etc, plus the strength of the 3 play-off losers and 3 relegated teams it looks to be arguably the most competitive championship ever
One of these was a red card, the other was a yellow. The difference? The club badge. The Premier League is corrupt to the core and I cannot wait to get out of it #twitterclarets
