Medical/Truegrass update: Well, circumstances could be better. I’m in a hospital in Bavaria, Germany, after a very bad fall on a staircase. They did emergency surgery on Sunday for a ruptured spleen and I have multiple broken ribs.

I did the show from Italy, which is exactly where this show was supposed to be broadcast from. You’ll hear songs for the upcoming Veterans Day/Remembrance Day, songs by Roy Lee Centers—one of my favorite lead singers—whose birthday would have been tomorrow, and lots more.

What this means for today is that for maybe only the third time ever, Truegrass will be a rerun today. @siriusxm Bluegrass Junction will rerun my show from around this time last year when I was also on a European tour (that went a lot better than this one did!).
