@JesusSaves1500 The Church existed before the New Testament was completed. Christ founded a Church, commissioned apostles to teach, and promised them His authority. The New Testament was then written and entrusted to that Church. You have it backwards.

@Gcarsona99 @needGod_net See, if you meet someone who has no idea about Christianity, you’ll hand him a Bible and after reading it he’ll come up with the true doctrines and dogma… sure. And you won’t even be able to point him to the right Church. He will need to study scripture, look at manuscripts etc.

And because you claim Sola Scriptura you have to down play the Church, that’s why it doesn’t really matter of you go to church or not 4U
