ten years as an antiquarian, hearing nothing but "my relative kept these untouched in a box their whole life but they died, and I don't want this stuff" has radicalized me. annotate the books. use the china. wear the clothes until they wear out. your life should not be a museum
Great FA Cup weekend, with plucky underdogs winning out on top. Well done Coventry and Man Utd. For LFC, a match too far for an exhausted thin squad. Well done officials for refereeing the occasion & not they match, why ruin story with deserved red cards!
Add in a very questionable offside decision that we've yet to see a proper review of. Now Spurs celebrating beating 9 men with a last minute og as if they've won the world cup, rather than just lucked out and avoided an embarrassing result. Odd little club
Incredible performance. Very questionable red in first half, a nothing yellow followed by a harsh yellow in the second. So many decisions going against us and still it took an own goal in the 96th minutes for a lacking Spurs side to win against 9 men.
After a week where offside goals involving Liverpool have been so highly discussed, I assume United's goal Vs city will be equally debated. Absolutely shocking decision, Rashdford completely impacting play shielding the ball for ten strides before the finish. Madness!
@Leoserver Salah's was right according to the rule but shows how wrong the rule is. Wolves was debatable at a time where VAR is meant to remove all doubt. Today's was just plain poor officiating. Welcome to the new world of Webb!
@Leoserver not trying to be controversial, just trying to understand from the outside looking in. Under investing in the stadium is the only thing, but then you are still raking that match day money in. It's not like the Hicks-Gillette times when we were a day away from administration
@Leoserver what is the perceived problem with the owners? They've backed you in the transfer market 2nd to none; tried many approaches to fixing manager strategy (sure, failed so far). Yes you are saddled with debt, but the only ppl buying you will be oil state wealthy writing off any debt.
Another evening clearing up the #bowthorpe marsh nature reserve. It beggers belief how people can leave all this behind in such a special place. Even found a disposable BBQ, burning under a tree @NorwichCC@EnvAgency
Hilarious @micarichards article on the BBC website. Who would have thought a neutral BBC article (by a man city ambassador) would be so jealous/defensive of City in such a small club way the day after they win the title against that nasty Liverpool! Sportswashing at its finest
Liverpool, relentless even when off form. What a season, showing incredible character and performances. Frustrated by costly draws, and a number of questionable officiating decisions that swung the title away from us. Still, one more game and one more trophy to go for
Congratulations Man City. In terms of players on the pitch playing football, they are very very good, they have to be too beat this Liverpool team to the title. It's off the pitch that warrants the asterisk by their titles.
Not the end of the world, a point is a point and still needing city to drop points as we did at the start. Spurs playing small time, dropping to the ground at every opportunity, time wasting from early on
