At the #MarchOfTheMummies today demanding childcare reform!
We have the 2nd most expensive childcare system in the world.
We have the third worst ranking maternity pay, and the least generous paternity leave, in Europe.
We're losing 54,000 women a year from the workforce!
@zozoxo26 From reading the judgement it appears the stem test was never carried out, just an MRI. So it was only ever just “likely” he was brain dead. Squeezing mum’s fingers, opening eyes, facial expression of stress during physio and relaxation during bath time were ignored by the court
Members of whichever iteration of the "vulnerable" list we're on now can access free tests by an obscure mechanism.
But vulnerable people can only "live with" COVID by knowing when OTHERS are infectious.
Confirming +ve after being unknowingly exposed sort of defeats the point...
We know Putin’s convoy is about to reach Kyiv and start murdering many more women & children. We also know we can stop it with air strikes entirely justified by his war crimes. But we won’t, because we’re scared of retaliation. Putin’s bullied the world into shameful submission.
I think Clayton should go home. So one dimensional, zero charisma and doesn’t seem to have had a real conversation with anyone. Don’t believe any of the girls honestly like him #TheBachelor
Dropping mask mandates as soon as numbers start to fall is like stopping your medication a few days after you start feeling better. I really need us to use common sense and stop being so reactive #causation#covid19#keepyourmaskson#MedTwitter

There are 3.7 million people in the UK who are still at high risk from #Covid19 despite vaccinations
Ending all protective measures will increase the risk to #CEV and #disabled people, and cause hospitalisations and deaths that are avoidable

@amateuradam love your book 'This is going to hurt' and I'm obsessed with the TV adaptation too! Tears of joy and sadness in the most wonderful way! #ThisIsGoingToHurt
In shock. Rest in peace you beautiful boy. I am so sorry this has happened. You were such a brave little boy. I cannot imagine his parents heartbreak. We pray for you
People who wear a mask during a pandemic = thoughtful and considerate
People who do not wear a mask during a pandemic = thoughtless and inconsiderate

I don't know about you, but I would always prefer our public health policy decision to be taken by someone who isn't a populist fighting desperately to stay in their job.
The government is ending its Covid-19 Plan B measures in England & face masks will no longer be mandatory, My advice as a doctor & public health specialist is that people should continue to wear face masks (ideally a FFP2 mask) when in indoor spaces outside their home.
It’s so easy to forget that @RoseAylingEllis can’t hear the music, she’s graceful, beautiful and so joyful to watch!! What a true inspiration she is!! She and @pernicegiovann1 are, without question, my winners this year!! #Strictly@bbcstrictly ❤️
NEW: Please share far and wide. I spoke with Mirza Ali and Suraya Ahmadi who handed their baby Sohail to a US soldier at the Kabul airport to protect him from getting crushed in the chaotic Afghan evacuation. They are in the U.S. Sohail is still missing https://t.co/vyBrCxpLnT
