@jeffreyabeall@drantbradley Same happened to us when they were 5! We wanted them to learn fundamentals in rec but apparently we were already too late. The rec team was practice for a travel team and those boys had man gloves and could throw from first to third.
@UpTambourine Sometimes I wish we could back to pre- social media times. I didn’t appreciate not knowing how many completely unhinged there are enough.
@wanyeburkett Your kid will be just fine. I put my kid in the bed with me at 9 months and never looked back. Best thing I ever did as a Mom. We all went to sleep and had the best conversations before bed. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
@eveforamerica I was 9, 35 years ago and not close to being overweight. Ate mostly food my parents grew. From my experience talking with other women, it’s pretty normal.
@emilykmay Ha! When I was a teenager, my mom told me to not get serious and have fun.She said make somebody take you to lunch and somebody else take you to dinner! Of course she grew up in the 50s, but it was still pretty good advice!
I've never FULLY made a bed. Growing up, my mom always did it. In college, I'd just change the sheets when dirty and haphazardly throw everything back on. After that, women have always done it. On a little vacation right now at an Airbnb, and I said, "Maybe I'll surprise her and do it."
That was really annoying. It felt like decorating a cake on the Great British Bake Off. Now I'm protective of the bed, I don't want to sit on it or lay in it, and I don't want her to. I don't want to wreck it. Don't get me started on throw pillows.
No wonder women are always yelling.
@buttonslives Me!! I never babysat and still don’t like kids who aren’t mine. I was completely content not having a baby and didn’t have one until I was 31. The best thing that ever happened to me and I absolutely cannot imagine my life without him. The very best thing I ever did!
