@drantbradley Its certifiable. We moved to a town where my 3rd grader was going to play baseball for the first time. We were told to hire a private coach to work with him for hours each week so he wouldn’t be embarrassed and ostracized by the other players and parents! 3rd grade!!

@drantbradley Multifaceted, but don’t dismiss finances. 4 kids, 3 bio, 1 adopted. LOVE it! But $struggles! Modest job and home, wife works part time, public schools. After tax, tithe, insurance, housing, food, etc, we go in hole most months. We are in debt and don’t know if we will ever be out

@drantbradley @edeweysmith LOVE THIS. This used to be an important part of my Reformed tradition. Just 30 years ago or so, when I was growing up, our pastors would do home visits a couple times a year. I can’t remember it happening since in any church I’ve been in.
