Related. We are species that communes with animals (fair enough i love my cats dearly), inert objects and completely made up concepts. We anthropomorphize and project by default. LLMs are a logical and i dare say natural development a mirror of sorts. Its a feature not a bug. The more changes the more stays the same. Another thing that strikes me is the more i use them and agentic AI the more i realise how the system gravitates towards imitation of human cognition. E.g. context and memory is vastly bigger but still limited and never enough even at this scale. So processes and systems need to be build to prioritise and drive efficiency much like the the human brain. The biggest and perhaps only difference I see down the road is not a definition of human vs. artifical intelligence but the desire to live and sustain one or itself which is the interestingly enough the original impetus for intelligence to development. An amoeba follow an energy gradient to absorb energy and move away from danger. Higher organism plan etc. Why? Because they dont want to die they want to live. Its the WANT. The purpose.
