@wholisticguy@emollick It also showed what baloney and waste climate models are (I am not denying human caused climate change). Most relied on IEA data meaning fossil mix too high breaking the model.
Millions die due to fossil fuel each year so good enough reason to replace it.
@emollick I asked a climate scientist why they used the iea solar forecasts in their models and was told that while they knew the numbers were daft they were rigorously calculated.
@ChelseaDan5@VinnieSull1van iirc district...most assume all lines have similar speed. If there is a strike effecting district then people use alternative lines , many find there journeys are faster and stick to the new routes.
@rodriscoll CFOs knew this weeks back and slowed token usage to prevent quarter end surprises (and as easy lever to get to "correct" expense)
More fun in old days when Glaxo CFO encouraged everyone to fly first class when gross profit was headed over 50%...not a good look when NHS paying.
@IGMansfield Not a new issue ... in 1990s trained as an accountant in NHS and very difficult to find a private sector accountancy job after. My sis in HR joked if i went for a job in a union would have been impossible.
@IGMansfield Thanks. My main concern is if University meant to open options then some Humanities courses should be scrapped as make you unemployable in Private Sector.
Is there any analysis on proportion of a course working in Business (not NGO) ?
@IGMansfield "considering personal ... returns." Can you clarify ? does that mean if a person with similar A level grades had skipped Uni the chances are they would earn more over their career than if they had gone to Uni and had to pay off loan ?
@rorysutherland@Jonathan_Hinder@larsiusprime Hopefully most homes bar the most expensive stay banded.
Saves a fortune in admin and arguments plus people like bragging of a higher band even if it means paying more tax
@rronak_ Problem is its a coworker who goes off sick, returns working part time, keeps being triggered by my requests and i suspect will be asking for a very big pay rise on 7th July :-)
