It’s great how this song affects kids no matter their age or location! WMS is the only school that had ever joined in on the dance floor in the past six years of doing the Awaken Assembly! Plus their message that you are in charge of your choices is spot on!

In 7th grade my World History teacher made us write a letter to ourselves one year after 9/11 occurred. She said we must always remember 9/11 and share our memories with others. Today I read the letter to my 7th and 8th graders so that our country will never forget. #WeRemember
