Power-to-gas = using excess solar and wind power to produce hydrogen or methane for storage in the natural gas grid. Is it feasible? Researchers at @DTUtweet are piloting the technology to find out.
"The gas grid is the biggest battery" Biogas is more expensive than solar and wind on a per kWh basis, but it's storable (~1000 times cheaper than battery storage). @stateofgreendk
