One of the reasons why some people support killing wolves is that wolves attack livestocks, although they cause much less loss than imagined. Using gaurd dogs, cleaning up died livestock, setting up electric fencing, monitoring by range rider can effectively avoid.

I learned that the African penguin is one of the most endangered penguin species. They encounter many problems that could lead to their extinction such as overfishing, oiling, and predation.

In Writing 39C I also learned to be a more concise writer. In the assignments, there is a word limit and it was difficult for me to slim down my paper. But having done it multiple times I am better at getting my point across in the fewest words.

The skills I learned in 39C were how to read an article for information rather than close reading which takes a long time. The class taught me what to look for in a research article so that I can summarize it best in my paper.

I learned that African penguins are monogamous and they will breed with their mate for life unless there is some issue with mating.

The most effective method of tackling the problem of oiling in African penguins is by ensuring that the hazard of oil spills is quickly contained or prevented from happening which lies in the responsibility of the South African government.
