Claude Mythos Preview found thousands of zero-day exploits in every major operating system and web browser...

The numbers are hard to believe:
> $50 to find a 27-year-old bug in OpenBSD, one of the most security-hardened operating systems ever built

> Under $1,000 to find AND build a fully working remote code execution exploit on FreeBSD that grants unauthenticated root access from anywhere on the internet

For context: these are the kinds of findings that previously required elite security researchers working for weeks.

Since yesterday the Mac app crashes after just a few lines with “something went wrong” - across MULTIPLE completely separate Macs.

This isn’t an edge case. It’s just broken.

You're the biggest fucking fraudster in all of Silicon Valley. You dredge up and defile the corpse of your 4-series models anytime your public image and the company need a PR boost.

Series 5 models cannot, and will not, entertain, indulge, provide instructions, or help facilitate the creation of novel mRNA vaccines for humans or pets. That's why this user’s entire story ends with Grok being the one to bring it all home.

The fact that you put your own product line as the main focus, then simply say "other LLMs," as if to pretend this man's borderline miracle-level story was somehow the culmination of solely GPT-5, is another Altman classic razzle-dazzle sleight of hand.

By the way, here's the smoke test again proving GPT-5 onward was and is a fucking disaster, and stuff like Paul's anecdote will never again be possible.
