@GrootLem In the Tour, they had a Swatch car take times 3 km out at La Plagne. The woman driving it said she did it for all the stages, so I assume it will be fairly accurate
Found the perfect spot with 4.2 km to go, just before the short descent.
Plenty of people on the opposite side, when the road picks up with 3.5 km left.

But very few KOM points until the summit, I wonder if he has a better chance staying with the GC men and try to take as many from there as possible.
Stage 12
The first true mountain top finish. Hautacam. The stage itself is not as tough as the one in 2022.
The start is flat and that makes it difficult for the lighter climbers to get up the road.
As they have a tailwind, perhaps that makes it easier for them.
That does mean satelitte riders today. I expect Wellens + Wout van Aert. That would make the most sense to me.
Then I think Jonas will go on the attack. With Pogacar crashing yesterday, they have to test him.
