We are so fortunate to be steeped in the many vibrant cultures of the community. What a beautiful experience to hear holiday songs from around the world! Our students did such an amazing job! 🥹❤️🌟 @NYCSchools@nycdistrict30 @D30_IASupt @trishamondal
Come out to @34_ave for a pre-parade promenade along 34 Ave. The 34 Avenue Open Streets Coalition will have volunteers stationed with wagons full of candy at many of our plazas. We are proud to partner with @nyc_dot for their trick or streets program again this year.
Our trip to the Hall of Science was sooo much fun! Our second grade students engaged in hands-on, STEM experiences. Check out our exploration and learning! @30Q398 @Salazar4theWin@nycdistrict30

On Friday, I was honored in receiving the Patrick J. Brodrick Memorial Award in excellence of teaching. Immensely thankful and honored for this special award from the faculty at the CMSV. An educators hard work doesn't go unnoticed. @30Q398 @MountStVincent@NYCSchools
What does free time look like for thousands of NYC teachers? Educators at PS 398 in Jackson Heights, Queens, made this video to show the work that goes on outside the classroom. That’s why our educators need respect and autonomy and a #UFTFairContractNow.
A special thanks to @AuthorYanish for visiting our school. We had a spectacular experience learning, creating and being makers of our own. Thank you for helping us find innovative ways to make art with recycled materials. Our students were inspired! @30Q398 @nycdistrict30
If all I do is inspire 1 childMy work is done. “ Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” Thank you @AuthorYanish for inspiring our children to be writers, creative thinkers, innovators and leaders of their learning @NYCSchools@nycdistrict30
Studies consistently demonstrate exposure to an additional language, including a minority language, does not impact language outcomes negatively for children with a developmental disability. https://t.co/NAnrNnVDvL
Today we went on a field trip to Carnegie Hall! We had such a great time seeing artists from around the world and singing to songs our students have been learning about. We also heard learned about hip hop and the incorporation of storytelling through music! So much fun!!@30Q398
